There were lots of great classes and workshops at this year’s fair.  I made pillows at the sewing station, did tool sharpening with two experts, learned how to make tortillas, toothpaste, deodorant and more!  This was the third year and classes were held at Meadowbrook and Ravenna Eckstein community centers.  It’s rare to have so much expertise […]

Last weekend my family and I went to the WSU Country Living Expo in Stanwood.   We learned about spinning, sausage making, tree pruning, bee keeping, cider making, wool preparation and arc welding to name only a few of the wonderful classes available.  In addition to the classes there was a trade fair.
