Just got back from a great trip to the Midwest to visit colleges with my daughter. I got a chance to visit the Chicago Botanical Institute and it was well worth it. If you are in the area definitely a good place to visit.
They have a vegetable and fruit area with lots of suggestions on how to grow sustainable edibles.
Even in the cold autumn air the bees were still active.
Lots of display gardens showing how to grow edibles in attractive arrays.
I especially liked the changing boards with seasonal advice.
I'd love to hear from you!
